Votive Silk Faille Three-Piece

Three pieces in silk faille, a cloth with a fine crossways rib that holds a shape and catches light without shine. The waistcoat is cut low and close with five corozo buttons and a cupro back; the blazer is single-breasted with a shawl lapel; the trouser is high-waisted and straight, long enough for a heel. Wear all three to a black tie evening on the harbour, or leave the jacket at home and let the waistcoat do the work at a summer wedding in Byron. Fully canvassed, cupro lined, made to order.

• Fabric: 100% silk faille, 220gsm; fully canvassed blazer front; waistcoat back and lining 100% cupro; corozo buttons
• Care: Dry clean only. Steam the faille, do not iron it.
• Fit: Waistcoat fitted, blazer close through the shoulder, trouser high-rise with an 84cm inseam. Model is 179cm and wears AU 8.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
