Lantern Wide-Leg Jumpsuit

The Lantern is tailoring that arrives as one long line. A sleeveless bodice with a shawl collar and a covered button placket runs into a high waist, a self-tie belt and a deep double-pleat wide leg in Italian wool-silk that falls without a break from hip to floor. Boned at the side seams so the front stays flat through a long lunch, lined in cupro to the hip, with slim welt pockets and a hidden left-seam zip. Garnet for a spring carnival marquee, ink for a black tie wedding, mulberry for December on the harbour. Hemmed to your heel, made to order.

• Care: Dry clean only. Press the leg with a cloth.
• Fit: Fitted through the bodice and waist, wide leg with an 84cm inseam hemmed to order. Model is 178cm and wears AU 8.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
