Taper Wool Crepe Suit

Cut for the second half of the day. A single-breasted blazer with a two-button front, a clean shoulder and a long notch lapel sits over a cigarette trouser with a flat front, side-seam pockets and a 15cm hem opening. Both are cut in 270gsm Australian merino wool crepe, dry to the hand and heavy enough to hang without pressing. The jacket is fully canvassed through the chest, lined in cupro and closed with corozo. Wear it in claret across a members' lawn in spring, then in char to dinner in Potts Point.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
