Smoulder Cigarette Trouser

The other half of the Smoulder suit and a trouser you will wear alone for a decade. High-rise, flat-fronted and cut slim through the thigh to a straight cigarette leg that breaks just at the ankle, in the same Australian merino crepe as the blazer. Side pockets sit flat, the waistband is curved and lined so it never gapes, and the hem is finished to order. Garnet for a Cup Day suit, ink for the boardroom, oat for a summer wedding with a silk cami.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
