Shelter Wool Car Coat

The Shelter is the investment coat. A collarless cocoon-shaped car coat in an Australian merino and cashmere blend, cut with a rounded shoulder, hidden front closure and deep welt pockets, finishing above the knee so it works over dresses and trousers alike. Fully lined in cupro, bagged out by hand. In butterscotch it is the colour trend; in ink it is forever; in oat it disappears into everything. Made to order, in a run of fifty per colour.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
