Nocturne Cowl-Back Maxi

Modest from the front, not from the back. The Nocturne is a boat-neck column in sandwashed silk crepe that turns to reveal a deep cowl and a fine T-strap, so it reads polished during the ceremony and something else entirely on the dance floor. The skirt is cut straight with a walking split, and the whole dress is lined in silk so it glides. Chocolate, cornflower or ink. It is the dress guests photograph from behind, and it is made to order.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
