Lintel Ponte Suit Set

Ponte behaves like a knit and reads like a suit. The Lintel blazer is cut from a 320gsm double knit with a notch lapel, a proper two-piece sleeve and welt pockets, so the structure comes from the cut rather than canvas. The trouser pulls on. A covered elastic waistband sits flat under a tucked shirt, the wide leg falls clean from the hip and the crease is pressed in permanently. It is the set for a long Wednesday, a red-eye to Perth, a school pick-up on the way to dinner. Wash it cold and hang it.

• Care: Cold gentle machine wash with like colours. Line dry flat, do not tumble. Steam rather than iron.
• Fit: Blazer true to size with a soft shoulder, trouser high-rise pull-on with an 82cm inseam. Model is 176cm and wears AU 10.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
