Line Wide-Leg Wool Trouser

The trouser that anchors the Studio wardrobe. A single-pleat wide leg in summer-weight Australian merino with a high curved waistband, side-seam pockets, a hidden hook-and-bar closure and a long straight leg that puddles just so over a heel or a sneaker. The cloth is tropical weight and holds a crease through a humid Sydney afternoon. Oat, charcoal or ink to pair with the Beam blazer, or cherry for the woman who wants her suit to be the colour. Hemmed to order.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
