Core Merino Crew Knit

The Core is the knit you wear over the Halcyon slip, under the Beam blazer and on the plane. A fine 16-gauge crew neck in extra-fine Australian merino spun in Victoria, with a slightly dropped shoulder, ribbed trims and a hem that sits at the hip. Six colours, always in stock in some form: cloud, oat, sage marl, cornflower, cherry and ink. It is warm without weight, machine washable on wool cycle and made in a small run rather than a mass one.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
