Axis Cotton Trench Coat

The Axis is the trench for a Melbourne spring that cannot make up its mind. Cut from densely woven Australian cotton gabardine in a relaxed proportion with a dropped shoulder, storm flap, deep patch pockets and a wide self belt, it layers over a Halcyon slip on a cool evening or a Meridian set at the airport. Unlined for breathability, with a bonded seam finish inside and horn buttons. Stone, ink or olive. Made to order.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
