Awning Boyfriend Blazer

Borrowed proportions, our cut. The Awning is a single-breasted boyfriend blazer in European linen and viscose that hangs heavy and creases the way good linen is meant to. No shoulder pad, no canvas, no lining, just a soft rolled lapel, two patch pockets and a sleeve cut long enough to shove back past the elbow on a 32-degree Brisbane afternoon. It throws over the Salt playsuit at lunch and over the Line trouser when the office aircon is brutal. Oat, ink or clay. Machine washable.

• Fabric: 55% European linen, 45% viscose, 240gsm; unlined, side seams and armholes French-finished
• Care: Machine wash cold on gentle. Dry flat in the shade. Steam rather than iron, and let the creases sit.
• Fit: Oversized boyfriend line; size down for a neater shoulder. Model is 177cm and wears AU 8; centre-back length 76cm.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
