Windward Linen Halter Jumpsuit

The bodice is a clean halter with a self-tie at the nape and a bare back, darted at the bust and lightly boned at the two front seams so it holds its shape without a bra. Linen alone would crease into the seat, so it is blended with viscose at 180gsm, which gives the leg enough weight to fall straight from a mid-rise waist seam and recover overnight on a hanger. There is a concealed side zip, a grosgrain waist stay to stop the bodice riding, and the leg is cut long to sit on the floor over a flat sandal. Wear it to dinner on the last night in Port Douglas, a Palm Cove wedding at sunset, or a New Year's evening on Sydney Harbour when a dress feels like too much effort.

• Care: Dry clean recommended. Hand wash cold if preferred, do not wring, line dry in shade and warm iron on the reverse.
• Fit: Fitted through the bodice and waist, full and straight through the leg. Take your usual size. Model is 174cm and wears AU 10, with the hem finished for a flat sandal.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
