Ignis Print Cotton Shirt Dress

The Atelier's day dress. An oversized shirt dress in two-ply Egyptian cotton poplin with a spread collar, a full-length placket, long cuffed sleeves and a self belt, printed in-house so the embers climb from the hem to the hip and fade into a plain cloud or ink body above. Belted it is a garden wedding; open over the Base tee and Stride short it is a Sunday in Paddington. Numbered run of one hundred, with a signed print card in the box.

We choose our cloth from long-established mills in India, where these fibres have been woven for generations, and hold every roll to the same standard before it is cut. Your piece is then made up by hand in our Australian atelier.

Wash cool and gently, dry in the shade, and press on a low heat. Silk and linen are happiest dry cleaned.

Australian sizing, AU 6 to AU 16. Cut true to size. Between sizes, take the larger for a relaxed line.
